As everyone has probably noticed, there's been a big change today.
1) I am officially launching To Prevent World Peace.
2) The forums have changed to accomodate both it and A Magical Roommate.
I've changed the logo (I've wanted to for years; the old one looked hideous) and the default style. If you wish to go back to the old default style, it was "subSilver," and you can change it in your profile.
I hope these changes will be positive for everybody! I'm thrilled to finally be doing something I've been planning for years. |

I was surprised when I clicked the forums link. It does look colorful and inviting and I'm glad my old alias still works
I read the first pages of TPWP, interesting concept and I'll do my best to follow. _________________ ~ Beauty In Diversity ~ Wisdom In Tolerance ~ |

Cool! Yeah, the forums do look different, but I think it's an improvement. The banner at the top is definitely better.
I hope you will be able to get into the story, Vick330. If you can't, no biggie -- everyone has their own tastes. I hope you can, though, since I think it's going to be really neat! |

The concept is certainly intriguing. _________________ ...So then I thought to myself 'Sure, why not stuff a whole chocolate bar in your mouth?' So I did. And I didn't choke. But everybody looked at me funny.
Maybe if I actually cared about that I woulda had more friends in school. Got-ta be me... |

| Hurray! I'm glad the concept is intriguing! At this stage, that is probably the best anyone can say about the story. (Chuckle.) Hopefully there will be many other things that interest people as it goes along! |

| There's a giant link under the comic, Masterweaver. Em, maybe you should change it to a graphic one, make it draw the eye more. |

Oooooooh!
I totally forgot about that part of the page. I was busy being half awake, half asleep, and half sourqrout.
Anyways, from what I see, it looks intriguing! Yes! Sadly, I have no money, and therefore cannot buy the print version. Awwww. But nonetheless, I will stalk-I MEAN FOLLOW- the online updates. Yes. Follow. With no hostile intent. And certainly not breaking any laws, no not me. Nope.
None.
At all.
Except possibly the laws of gravity. |

I considered making it a graphical link, but that seemed like it would seem a bit too out of place in an area that's always been text-only before. I may eventually post an obvious graphical link to World Peace on the main page of my comic strip, but only if I can first figure out a way to do so that's eye-drawing without being distracting or annoying.
It may not be obvious to people who haven't spent hours designing both websites (clutches head at memories of website coding last month), but my comic strip has a site that's heavier on text than images, and my manga has a site that's heavier on images than text. (In fact, there's not even a spot for a "news" post on my manga. That's partly because gold-on-black isn't as easy to read as blue-on-white, partly because my manga has a more formal feel and so requires a site that reflects this, and partly because I don't want to have two news posts to update at any given time!)
Glad to hear you find the story intriguing so far, Masterweaver! (Nods) I can understand having no money . . . usually, when I really want something I can't afford to get myself, I put it on a birthday wishlist and hint strongly to a family member that I'd really like "that" this year. Sometimes it even works! But yeah, no worries if you can't afford them. I don't guilt-trip.
Have fun defying the laws of gravity! If you find a pair of usable wings, give me a turn! |
