No really, his name is Radd.
Kid Radd is your average video game hero. He jumps across platforms. He beats up random bad guys. He fights his evil brother. He saves his girlfriend. And he wins.
Again.
And again.
And again.
It's only a game, after all.
Then one day, his world is shattered, and he comes face to face with life in cyberspace... and all the challenges therein.
Kid Radd. A surprisingly deep and heartwarming tale about life, deletion, and one groovy spikey haired sprite. |

Agreed! I really wasn't expecting to like that comic at all until a friend recommended it enough that I lacklusterly gave it a try. Then I got addicted. It's so awesome, it defies its genre -- I love it even though I usually hate sprite comics! I've read it through three times, and I probably will again sometime soon. It's just so surprisingly awesome!
(And Sheena becoming a magical-girl-ish-fighter in later story was just icing on the cake. I found much laughter and delight in this, hee hee hee.  ) |
